VBS 2015
Thank you to everyone who helped with CAMP AWSOME in anyway. All the children enjoyed themselves. We had 17 children who registered this year and we averaged 15 children every day. A big thank you for all your help to the three councilors and two students. The UCW Women’s group did an wonderful job with providing the snacks. We received more than 200 in donations. Also a very big thank you to the women that assisted Gary – as back up every day! The week turned out to be a real success due to all the combined efforts of everyone!

Sky VBS 2012 ran from July 16 to 20, 2012. The week was attended by 18 youth, with 6 teen leaders plus myself. The week was funded by St. John's Anglican and Cookstown United churches and was filled with music, drama, games, bible stories and science fun. The week was a great success and ended with a youth service on the Sunday. I thank the benefactors of this wonderful endeavor and pray that God blesses each and everyone for their kindness and generosity.

What did we do for VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2011
The 2011 Vacation Bible School was a joint effort between three churches this past summer. St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Churchill, St. John’s Anglican Church in Cookstown and the Cookstown United Church shared financial and people resources to provide a week of story telling, song singing, food eating and game playing for about 50 children from the three communities.
The week’s event was held at St. Peter’s in Churchill and the program leadership was provided by two travelling Anglican youths who spent their summer running VBS events at a variety of churches. Father Matt, Rev. Debra and the VBS leaders did skits, bible stories and helped with the various groups while church volunteers prepared healthy snacks, planned games, helped little hands with the cutting and gluing and stringing and beading and making of their daily crafts and hugged homesick little boys and girls.
Camp Awesome will take place this year from
July 25th to July 29th 2016
