I was born in Oakville, Ontario where I was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s United Church.

I  attended Victoria University  where I studied Modern History, English option.

For nine years, I was a member of the Canadian Foreign service with postings to Buenos Aires,

Tel Aviv and Manila, before returning to Canada to attend Emmanuel College.

In 1984, I was settled at Valley Charge in Southern Manitoba where I looked after three congregations – Emerson, Dominion City and Greenridge.

From 1987-93, I served on another three-point charge, this time in Ontario – Coldwater, Eady and Waubaushene.

In 1993, I became part of a ministry team with Warren McDougall at Bloor Street United Church in Toronto. In 2006, we moved as a team to Richmond Hill United Church where I retired in June 2016.

I would like to invite everyone to come and worship with the

people of Countryside United Church. We have a growing Sunday School, Youth Choir, Senior Choir, Bible Study, and many other

activities to be part of in the Church.

May God Bless,

Rev. Linda
